95 per cent of twitterati in our poll say Parrikar touch will help mining industry

Panaji: The faith in Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s capability to solve the current crisis on the mining industry was reflected during a random poll launched by www.goanewshub.com.

Almost 95 per cent of the people voted to impose their faith in chief minister in solving the current crisis on mining industry. The twitterati were hopeful that Parrikar’s meeting scheduled next week will work out the solution for mining issue.

The comments posted during the poll which was launched yesterday were completely favouring Parrikar’s touch.

“Goa Mining People’s Front is ecstatic that CM is back and solution for immediate mining resumption is on cards. If Supreme Court has not given any consideration to general Goan mining dependent people’s interest then Goa government has to. Afterall our CM is the best CM in India,” tweeted Camilo V Fernandes, a leader of GMPF.

In an interesting comment, Sejal Tarkar said “waiting for surgical strike on mining crisis”. The comment was indirectly referring to the historical surgical strike successfully done by Indian Army in PoK under the leadership of Parrikar during his tenure as Defence minister.

Chintamani Shirodkar said “Yes. He will definitely decide positively on early resumption of mining activity in Goa.”

Taking for the cause of economy of the State, Balaso Patil said “Goan Economy mostly depend on mining, lot of revenue directly or indirectly comes by associate business so I can say yes CM help is crucial in this stage/phase for development and employment in the state.”

Sanjog Mainkar reacted “Definitely… NW all mining dependent hope on Parrikar.”

Another faithful Maya Shirodkar tweeted “Yes he will decide on early resumption of mining in Goa.”

A twitter use with the name Jain said “Yes. Very much.”

Dhananjay Verlekar said “Mining sector functions as the backbone of Goa. So, early resumption of mining in Goa is a must to save Goa’s economy and livelihood of Goans. Therefore Chief Minister’s help is a must need to solve our problems.”

Prasad Bhandari had one word reply “yes”

Ujwala Sawant tweeted “All eyes on our BHAI”

  1. With return of the bhai we all mining dependants are hopeful. We are now cent percent sure that mining will start at the earliest.
