Panaji: Goa government will erect 62 new mobile towers in the state as a part of its Telecommunication Policy to increase the connectivity, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said.
In a media statement released on Saturday, Sawant said that in the second phase, 138 new mobile towers would be installed in the state.
“Glad to announce that our government under the Goa Telecom Infrastructure Policy 2020, in the first phase has proposed erection of mobile towers at 62 locations,” Sawant said.
“In the second phase, another 138 mobile towers will be proposed soon across Goa. This will greatly improve the connectivity and benefit all sections of the society including students, IT Professionals, Tech Start Ups etc,” he added.
