Panaji: AAP Goa chief Amit Palekar in a tweet has alleged that Rs 50,000 per month protection money is sought from fish vendors at jetties.
Palekar wrote on “X” : 50k per month protection money sought from Fish vendors at Jetties and when informed @DrPramodPSawant says file complaint instead of ordering immediate investigation. Any guesses why? People are scared to go to Police stations at @DGP_Goa as criminals and politicians rule over them. Take charge sir and even incharge of Police station are fed up of this interference and speak in soft voices to us!”
