Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 254 and reached 1,63,612 on Thursday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 2,969 as six of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 156819 with 468 of them getting discharged on Thursday. The number of active cases is now 3824, the official said.
“With 2953 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 8,78,491,” he added.
