VASCO: In a raid conducted near Verna Church in Nuvem on Tuesday evening, the Verna police arrested one Orissa native with 1.010 Kilograms of ganja worth Rs 1 Lakh.
According to police, after receiving information from a reliable source, a team of Verna police led by PSI Stanley conducted a raid near Verna Church and caught red handed the accused namely Badal Baliyar Singh(24), a resident of Margao and native of Orissa.
“The accused was found in illegal possession of over one kilogram of ganja worth Rs One lakh. The accused has been booked and arrested under Sections 20(b)(ii)(b) of NDPS Act 1985,” police told
