Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 2,293 and reached 77,477 on Sunday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 1,017 as twenty-four (24) of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 62,771 with 658 of them getting discharged on Sunday. The number of active cases is now 13,689, the official said.
“With 5,946 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 6,19,811” he added.
