Youth Congress paid tributes to Rajiv Gandhi by lending help to Public

Panaji : The Goa Pradesh Youth Congress on Friday 21st May 2021, while paying tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary, gave a helping hand to COVID patients and their relatives by distributing them water bottles.

The program was carried out in Asilo Hospital, Goa Medical College, South District Hospital, Sub District Hospital-Ponda and ESI hospital in Margao.

GPYC President Adv. Varad Mardolkar, GPCC Gen Sec Janardhan Bhandari, General Secretary Dennis D’Souza, State YC GS Archit Naik, North District President Vivek D’silva, South District President Ubed Khan,  Gen Secretary Deepak Pai, Gen Sec Manoj Naik,Gen Sec Nerissa Fernandes, Saish Aroskar, Kliban Fernandes, Sanket Bhandari, Sai Dessai, Riyaz Sayyed,Himanshu Tivrekar, Roshan Chodankar,  Jakwan Mulla and others were on field for water distribution.

GPYC President Adv. Varad Mardolkar said that Youth Congress members paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi, who was the youngest Prime Minister of India, and later visited hospitals for water distribution.
“Our former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi always worked in the interest of the public and for the welfare of society. Taking inspiration from his work, we too made some efforts to help people.” Adv. Mardolkar said.

Adv. Mardolkar said that Rajiv Gandhi with his great vision , brought telecom revolution in India and hence we could get connected with our near and dear ones.

The South Goa District Youth Congress Committee members distributed water bottles in South Goa, while the North Goa District Youth Congress distributed it in North Goa.

“Since, Second wave of COVID-19 has attacked Goa, the Youth Congress members are constantly helping people who are arriving and admitted in the government hospitals. We have supplied Oxygen to every needy patient from government and private hospitals”, Concluded Mardolkar.
