Margao: They have no political mileague to fetch or no banner to brag about but this group of friends from Margao are on the street fighting back the rains providing food the people fighting back covid.
Saideep Paiguinkar, Pauras Patil and Vishwesh Prabhudessai have pulled in their own resources providing meal packets to the people, who are on their toes fighting back the pandemic time.
On Friday, the group were seen distributing the meals to policemen at Fatorda, who were on duty despite cyclonic winds to ensure law and order.
The group also went around on Saturday providing food to the needy in Margao, Fatorda and Navelim.
“There is no political motivation. We thought that we should give back something to the society, that is where we came up with the idea,” said Vishwesh Prabhudessai.
The team of youngsters are backed by their well wishers, family and even neighbours. On a whatsapp group, Mr P X Patil from Rivona shared his picture while helping Vishwesh prepare the meal, which was later transported to Margao,
