Panaji: A day after BJP Goa unit demanded shutting down of off-shore casinos, State chief minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that “government will consider the request.”
“As a state government we are considering the request letter sent to the government by BJP Goa Unit President Vinay Tendulkar. I have received the letter today itself,” Sawant told a press conference.
Responding to a question, the Chief minister said “definitely, government will consider the representation and act accordingly.”
Tendulkar on Tuesday had said that BJP’s demand is that offshore casinos should be shut.
