St Andre: It was a team of local bodies, police, fire services, electricity department and youth that cleared the Old Highway at Goa Velha, which was blocked after a huge Banyan tree fell on it during cyclonic winds.
The village panchayat of St. Andre, Goa Velha along with Agassaim police and its team were assisted by Mahesh, Vilas Jadhav from Pilar.
Sheldon D’Souza, Proprietor of Sheldon constructions, Dilip Buildcon, Fire and Emergency services, Electricity Department, and villagers of Goa Velha joined hands to clear the obstacle.
