Canacona: The worst fear expressed by the private bus operators at Canacona bus stand turned true on Thursday morning.
The private buses operating from Canacona bus stand have been complaining about the open trench. The Bus stand is owned by Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited.
Despite several complaints, the trench was kept open.
And finally, on Thursday, Karwar to Vasco Kadamba Bus (GA-03/X-0489) ran into the trench. Initial reports suggest that the tank of the bus was cracked due to the rod that was in the trench.
