Panaji : India Meteorological Department, Goa has issued red warning for 19 July “heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely at many places, Extremely heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places, winds of speed 45-55 km/hr gusting to 65 Km/hr very likely” informed IMD.
Meanwhile IMD has issued an orange warning for 20, 21, 22 and 23 July. “During this period heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely at a few places and winds of speed 45-55 km/hr gusting to 65 Km/hr very likely” stated IMD.
Meanwhile the fishermen have also been warned about the weather, “Squally weather with wind speed reaching 45-55 KMPH gusting to 65 KMPH likely to prevail along and off south Maharashtra-Goa coast from 19th to 23rd July 2021”
IMD has advised fishermen not to venture along and off south Maharashtra – Goa Coast during the above mentioned dates.
