Panaji: After a gap of six days, the drinking water will finally reach Panaji during wee hours of Wednesday.
PWD Minister Dipak Pauskar said that the pipeline would be restored by 12 midnight today and after that the water will be pumped in.
He said that 900 mm pipeline would be repaired first while second of 700 mm will take seven days to repair.
As this might affect the supply to Old Goa and surrounding areas, the department will release the water from 900 mm pipeline to these areas.
