Panaji: The confusion prevailed across all the Health Centres in the state as the people in 45 plus category, frontline workers and covid warriors lined up to take their second dose of vaccination on Tuesday.
They were sent back as the recent instructions of the Union Government mentions that the gap between two doses has to be 84 days.
Directorate of Health Services had failed to inform the beneficiaries due to which they had gone to the Health Centres on the dates that were given to them during their first dose.
State Vaccination Chief Dr Rajendra Borkar said that the gap between the first and second dose has to be 84 days.
He said that the beneficiaries NEED NOT REGISTER ONLINE but instead can walk into the centres after 84 days to get the second dose.
