Panaji : Goa BJP is assembling in advance for the expected third
wave of Covid-19. To prepare for it well in advance the district training programme for BJP mandal volunteers was conducted at Gomantak
Maratha Samaj hall in Panaji where 125 volunteers were trained.
These volunteers will train more in the coming days and in case
the third wave hits the State, a total of 3500 volunteers would be
on the field to control the pandemic.
The training session was attended by BJP Goa State president Sadanand Shet Tanavade, health minister, Dr Shekhar Salkar, in-charge of National Health
Volunteers Campaign, Dr Vinod Verekar, Dr Sonia Kanekar, Siddharth Kunkolienkar and Dr Sneha Bhagwat.
Health minister Vishwajit Rane said “It will be a massive group of 3500 volunteers trained to control the third wave, if it comes. The government will extend its full support to make the campaign better and effective,” The Chief Minister Pramod Sawant gave the concluding speech and thanked the participants
