Following the successful completion of the 550th Year Celebrations, the balance civil and finishing works at the premises of Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math, including the areas surrounding the newly installed Rama Pratima, have now been resumed. These works are essential to ensure the proper, safe, and orderly completion of the entire project.
In view of the ongoing construction activities, the premises of Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math and the areas around the newly installed Rama Pratima shall remain temporarily closed to all devotees, tourists, and other visitors with effect from 2nd January 2026 until further notice.
Devotees, tourists, and other visitors are requested to refrain from visiting the Math premises, including the areas around the newly installed Rama Pratima, during this period in order to avoid inconvenience, ensure personal safety, and facilitate the smooth and uninterrupted progress of the remaining works.
We fully understand and appreciate the sentiments and feelings of devotees and other visitors in this regard. However, in the larger interest of the overall project and to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors, the temporary closure has become necessary.
We solicit the cooperation and understanding of all devotees, visitors, and the general public during this phase.
A separate advisory or notification will be issued upon completion of the above works.
