Panaji: This would certainly have been a party of the year. The rumours were spread that Apna Ghar was hosting a party in its premises.
Women and Child Welfare minister Vishwajit Rane who rushed to Apna Ghar, obviously not to participate in the party but to stop it, found that it was just a rumour.
Rane said that the staff had kept a farewell to CWC of South Goa for which they were supposed to offer a cup of tea and biscuits.
This is what Rane told reporters outside Apna Ghar “There is no controversy. I checked personally. There is nothing happening here and there is no party”.
“There was a message on the whatsapp about the party, which is false. People have put rumours. Is this the place to party? One cup tea and biscuit is not a party,” he said.
“Whoever has spread it , it is his look out. We are taking care of the children here. It has become fashion on the social media site. You have to face it,” he added.
