Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has termed as “rumours,” his meeting with Madkai MLA Sudin Dhavalikar on Friday.
Rane was inspecting a premise of IIT, NIT and GEC for setting up covidcare centre when rumours of his meeting with Dhavalikar surfaced.
The post which was being circulated on the social media claimed that both leaders met, which may initiate political changes in the current government.
“I have not met anyone today and I am busy in visiting Covid-19 care centres. I am fully with the government and with the party,” Rane issued the clarification trying to put to rest the rumour mill.
Dhavalikar also claimed that he has not met Rane on Friday. But instead, he said, he had met the health minister couple of days back to ask for replenishment of immunity boosters which are supplied by the government.
