Margao: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Sunday conducted surprise inspection of South district hospital, which will re-start its Out Patient Department (OPD) from Monday.
The OPDs of all the state run hospitals were shut down during the lockdown. Goa government has decided to restart all the OPDs in a phased manner, after State has been declared as “Green Zone”.
Rane tweeted “conducted a surprise inspection today morning at the South Goa District Hospital to monitor the status as we start OPD operations from tomorrow.”
“Delighted to see a motivate team of workers, relentlessly working towards keeping the surroundings clean and hygienic for out citizens,” he added in the tweet.
The minister also tweeted “our team is working hard to provide healthcare facilities to the people of state of Goa. With the necessary measures and protocols in place, we are united to combat the virus and win this war against #COVID-10.”
