Poriem: On the occasion of Independence Day, Vijaya Devi Rane hoisted National Flag at Shri Bhumika High School, Poriem.
Her son and State health minister Vishwajit Rane announced on the social media that the inspiration to her came from the call by Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “Har Ghar Pe Tiranga”.
Vishwajit wrote “My mother Vijaya Devi Rane fighting cancer (I) was surprised to see her at Shri Bhumika High School, with the call of our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji of Har Ghar Pe Tiranga gave her inspiration to hoist the flag at Shree Bhumika school today. I am so proud of her.”
