Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar Leads Protest March Condemning Pahalgam Terror Attack

In a powerful display of solidarity and outrage, Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar spearheaded a protest march today, condemning the recent heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam that tragically claimed the lives of 28 innocent individuals.



A large number of citizens joined the march, carrying candles and placards to express their deep sorrow and unwavering stance against terrorism. Participants chanted slogans against Pakistan, underscoring the collective anger and demand for justice as they proceeded through the streets of Vasco.

Salkar said that this barbaric act of terror in Pahalgam has deeply shaken the conscience of our nation. The loss of these innocent lives is painful. The people of Goa stand united with the rest of India in this moment of grief.


He emphasized, “Terrorism, in any form, is unacceptable. We must remain steadfast in our resolve to combat this menace. I have complete faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decisive leadership. He will ensure that those responsible for this atrocity are brought to justice and that Pakistan receives a strong message.”



The march culminated at the Hutatma Smarak, where participants observed a minute of silence to honor the victims and reaffirmed their commitment to the ongoing fight against terrorism.
