Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane’s constituency of Valpoi has projected a optimistic picture on COVID-19 front.
The number of covid positive cases here have dropped to nine with no new infection adding to the tally.
Dr Shyam R Kankonkar, in-charge of Community Health Centre at Valpoi, said that the number of covid-19 cases have been reduced to mere 9.
He said that since beginning total of 35 people residing under the jurisdiction of CHC Valpoi were tested positive and was shifted to Covid Care Centres. All the cases were imported and isolated in different villages. Till 26 people got recovered.
Our team of CHC Valpoi is very vigilant in dealing with Covid19 cases, every day we have a flu opd and swab collection at our hospital and we collect almost more than 100 samples per day. Health Minister and Valpoi MLA Vishwajit Rane, Valpoi Mamlatdar and Deputy collector provide us with their full support to fight with this pandemic, he said.
