Panaji: The Valpoi Block Congress committee on Friday submitted a memorandum to the Chief Conservator of Forest demanding to shift the IIT project from Sattari Taluka due to ecological and environmental reasons.
“We strongly oppose the IIT project in Shel Melauli village. The villagers of Melauli have been expressing their apprehension as well as opposition over proposed IIT Goa project, since the long period.”
