Panaji: The meeting between Utpal Parrikar and former Thivim MLA Kiran Kandolkar had triggered several political possibilities, which can emerge in the days to come.
Kandolkar, who has been recently speaking against his own party, has threatened to float a new political outfit. He may try to create rift within the BJP.
What was interesting is that Kandolkar did not keep this meeting confidential but instead put in public domain his picture with Utpal.
The former Thivim MLA also went on to tell a local news channel “Prudent Media” that he discussed formation of new regional party with Utpal.
Utpal was quick enough to clarify. He tweeted “Ex-MLA Kiran Kandolkar expressed his desire to meet me. So I met him today and tried to impress upon him need to continue to work with the party which he worked with my father to build for so many years.”
