Panaji: Goa Police on Thursday arrested Uttar Pradesh native for morphing picture of a local girl and circulating it on social media.
Cyber Crime Police station arrested Ballu Yadav, originally from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, currently staying at Mangor Hill, Vasco for morphing face picture of a girl with nude female body.
As per the complaint filed by the victim, the accused circulated the picture on social media and defamed her in public.
The accused was arrested under relevant sections of IPC and Information Technology Act.
Police Inspector Rahul Parab, PSI Devendra Pingle, Head constable Yogesh Khandeparkar, PC Sanyog shetye, Ibrahim Karol of cyber crime under the supervision of SP Crime Shobhit Saxena conducted the investigation.
