The United Club of Benaulim is proud to announce its Annual Adeus Carnival Rally 2026, scheduled to take place on 17 February 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in Benaulim. The vibrant rally will bring together families, friends, and visitors for a colourful celebration of Goan culture, tradition, and community spirit.
Chief Guest Mr. Warren Alemao expressed his joy at being associated with the event, stating,
This rally is our tradition and our culture. It is something that unites people, young and old, across generations.
He also commended the United Club of Benaulim for preserving and nurturing the true spirit of Carnival year after year.
Club member Mr. Franscio Fernandes (Pele) shared that this year’s celebrations will feature a grand main float, a special family float, a fancy dress parade, DJ music, and a live musical band. The much-loved King Momo will once again lead the procession, with Menino de Babdar being honoured as King Momo 2026, promising joy, laughter, and festive cheer along the route.
Emphasising the cultural importance of the event, Club Secretary Mr. Remedios Fernandes said,
Carnival is our heritage. It carries our memories, our music, and our smiles. We will celebrate it in a traditional manner, with respect for our roots and love in our hearts.
Club President Mr. Damaciano Fernandes extended a warm invitation to all, saying,
We invite families, children, elders, and visitors from Benaulim and beyond to join us. Let us walk together, dance together, and show that Benaulim still beats with the true spirit of Carnival.
