Panaji: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Goa on Thursday to chair the 24th meeting of Western Zonal Council which is attended by representatives from three states and two union territories.
Maharashtra Chief minister Devendra Fadanavi, his Gujarat counterpart Vijay Rupani, Goa counterpart Pramod Sawant and representatives from Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli were also present for the meeting which is underway to Panaji.
Sawant along with his cabinet colleagues Michael Lobo, Mauvin Godinho received Shah at the airport in the morning.
