Canacona: A 46-year-old woman tourist from the United Kingdom (UK) currently holidaying in the state was found dead near a beach in Canacona village in South Goa on Wednesday.
A senior police official said that they have recovered dead body of UK national Emma Louise Leaning at Canacona near the beach. The official said that the body was “under decomposition stage” and outer skin was eaten by insects.
Police said that there was no external injury on her body. “Her friends do not suspect any foul play in the matter,” he said.
Canacona police have registered case of unnatural death and body has been sent for postmortem at District Hospital in Margao town of South Goa.
