Two Health Officers, Four Sanitary Inspectors to Face Suspension Over Corruption Charges

Panaji: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Saturday announced that two health officers and four sanitary inspectors will be suspended next week for their alleged involvement in corruption and blackmail.

“In a meeting with the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), it was found that four sanitary inspectors and two health officers were involved in corrupt practices and blackmailing of individuals,” Rane said.

“The suspension process has already been initiated, and their names will be made public next week,” he added.
