Toilet controversy: Now South Goa Congress wants Sr Rane to apologise

Margao: The controversy surrounding Senior Congress leader Pratapsinh Rane’s statement on Goans cleaning toilets abroad seems not to have died down.

South Goa District Congress Committee has now demanded that Rane should apologise for his statement. South Goa District Committee President Joe Dias said that the committee has sought apology from Rane for his comments.

While Dias refused to elaborate further, sources stated some of the Congress leaders demanded that stern action should be taken against Senior Rane.

The committee has decided to approach Goa Pradesh Congress Committee with the demand that Rane should say sorry for his statement.
