There will be no compromise, those involved in Assagao can would be punished: CM

Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that though the house owner has claimed that she has entered into compromise with the other party over Assagao house demolition case, the procedure which was started by the state government will be completed.

Sawant said that all those who were involved in the crime would be arrested by police for which the teams have already left to Belgaum and Mumbai.

The chief minister said that if the house owner has compromise, that is her issue, and that would have no impact on the police investigation.

“Whatever procedure that I had started will be completed,” Sawant said.

He said that everyone who is involved in the crime would be arrested.

Sawant said that the compromise by the house owner is her own decision. When asked whether state government will build house for her, CM replied “she has said that she does not want house to be rebuilt by government.”

“There will be absolutely no compromise in this case,” he said.
