Panaji – The blatant lies of the BJP Government under Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant once again stand exposed with the copy paste job of the so-called “Swayampurna” Survey report announced by Dr Pramod Sawant in his Independence Day speech charged GPCC president Girish Chodankar.
The Chief Minister in his speech had said in his speech that ” In response to the call given by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to make India ” Atmanirbhar”; the Directorate of Higher Education and GPARD had prepared a Survey Report and Goa Government will follow the same”.
Suprisingly the core seven focus points announced by the Chief Minister in his speech from the said so-called Survey Report are copied from the Goa Vision 2035 document preapred by Goa Golden Jubilee Development Council constituted under eminent scientist Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar by then Congress Government under Chief Minister Digambar Kamat in 2010.
The Chief Minister must apologise to the 17 eminent members of the Committee for wrongly taking credit of their hard work.
The seven focul points of Suramya Goa, Susanskrut Goa, Santulit Goa, Suvidya Goa, Samrudha Goa, Sushaasit Goa and Swanandi Goa form the core part of the content of Vision 2035 document Girish Chodankar claimed.
The Congress Party however welcomes the announcement by the Chief Minister and hope that he will now actually move ahead in imeplementing the Vision 2035 document. Better late than never stated Girish Chodankar.
It is a shame that the former CM Late Manohar Parrikar shelved for almost 6 years such an important document prepared by 17 member committee comprising of eminent personalities like Vijay Bhatkar, Dr.Anil Kakodkar, Prof. Madhav Gadgil, Ashank Dessai, Dr. Vijay Kelkar, Dr. P S Ramani, late Arch. Charles Correia and others.
