Panaji: Health Minister and Valpoi MLA Vishwajit Rane on Sunday said that the issues raised by locals in connection with IIT project in Sattari would be addressed.

Rane told reporters that the land belonging to the temples, which is marked under the project, would be exempted from the proposal.

The minister said that Chief Minister has been briefed about the issues raised by the people in relation to the IIT, and all the issues are being addressed by him.

Rane also said that it is not fair for the people to gather in a crowd without maintaining social distancing in the current covid situation.

“So many people coming together at this covid times is not a good thing. Every issue can be addressed through mutual discussion. I have discussed issue with the CM.

It is not good to create a crowd without having social distancing.

I have been following up about the project,” he added.

“CM has been briefed about the issued. Talathi had done survey with error. The land for temple should be exempted,” Rane said.
