Panaji: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) department has issued a Show Cause Notice along with a Stop Work Order for the proposed residential and commercial project, including a swimming pool and compound wall, at Carambolim village, Tiswadi.
TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane said, “Following a joint site inspection conducted after receiving a formal representation, issues relating to site conditions and statutory compliance were observed. Accordingly, all construction activity at the site has been ordered to stop with immediate effect until further notice.”
Rane added, “Development in Goa will proceed strictly as per law. Any deviation from prescribed norms will invite decisive action. There will be no compromise on statutory compliance.”
