Panaji: Bharatiya Janata Party Goa BJP president Sadanand Tanavade today hailed and welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement in the Parliament about formation of a trust for the construction of a Ram Temple in Ayodhya as directed by the Supreme Court.
Tanavade said that it is a historic announcement and BJP Goa thanks Prime Minister led cabinet for their resolution to set up the trust, which was as per SC direction in the landmark verdict in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case last November.
He said that it is a big step for Ram Mandir Pilgrims. Centre has decided to allocate 67 hectares of land near the temple area to the trust.
