Cortalim: As per the initial reports, the SUV that fell in the River from Zuari Bridge apparently belongs to D’Cruz family from Loutolim. Nuvem MLA Aleixo Sequeira told reporters that there is strong suspicion that the vehicle belongs to Prescilla D’Cruz from Loutolim, who was travelling with her husband for a Birthday party last night.
Sequeira said that the assumption could be confirmed only when vehicle and the occupants are recovered from the River bed. The search and rescue operation had resumed on Thursday.
The MLA told reporters that he had visited the house of D’Cruz where he found that the couple has not returned. Their 13-year-old son is with grandfather at home.
He said that four of them were travelling in the vehicle last night and since then, they have not returned back home.
