Margao: Goa Forward Party’s Vice President Dilip Prabhudesai on Friday accused Entertainment Society of Goa’s Vice Chairman Subhash Faldesai of “deliberately side stepping the issue of Konkani films during upcoming IFFI.”
Konkani film fraternity has been complaining about non representation to them during forthcoming IFFI.
Prabhudesai said “it appears that the Vice Chairman of ESG is deliberately side stepping the main issue of ensuring that Goan films get representation at IFFI by bringing up the selection of films for the Indian Panorama.”
“He should clarify about what role he has played in trying for Goan films in other sections of IFFI and what role ESG actually plays as far as IFFI is concerned,” he added.
