Panaji: The State Legislative Assembly has received 1733 questions and seven government bills to be tabled during the upcoming 12-day long monsoon session, beginning from July 19.
Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant informed that till date Assembly has received 684 starred and 1049 unstarred questions. The last date for submitting questions is tomorrow.
The assembly session will conclude on August 3.
He said that it has also received seven Government bills- amendment to Lokayukta Act, High Education, Town and Country Planning, Environment, Rent verification, Health and Mopa with another three more likely to be expected.
The report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) ending March 31, 2018 will be also placed.
The first two-days of the session will see general discussion on Budget 2018-19 followed by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s reply. The next ten days will have discussion on Demands on Grants.
