The Government has constituted Special team of Inspector of Civil supplies Commercial tax and Legal Metrology to physically open and verify the stock from the Godowns of suppliers / wholesalers. The Team is specifically authorized to take action against any hoarding under the Prevention of Black marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 and other relevant Acts.

It’s a good intention on the part of govt to regulated and check on supplies by the elected commissioned inspectors there should be a check on this inspectors to make sure they do the job in line with the guidelines and report back and not to do the job filmy style
