As of September 12, 77 camps had been completed, while the remaining 12 are scheduled to be held next week. The bank official also shared details of the achievements made under various financial inclusion schemes in the district.
Gaonkar directed all banks to ensure completion of targets under the Re-KYC drive. He also instructed Block Development Officers (BDOs) to create awareness among locals and mobilise beneficiaries through panchayat secretaries.
The chair further directed bank officials to share the list of beneficiaries with the concerned BDOs, while emphasising that all banks operating in the respective localities, along with the nodal bank, should proactively participate in the campaign.
All BDOs of South Goa district were also instructed to submit their campaign reports through the designated online link in the prescribed format, the administration said.
