Panaji: The investigations into the sex scandal involving son of a councillor has revealed that he had exploited two sisters of the same family, including a minor one.
The Crime Branch which is investigating the case has received statements from four girls who had claimed that they were sexually exploited by accused Soham Naik, a 20-year-old son of councillor from Curchorem municipal council in Kushavati District of Goa.
The BJP has claimed that neither father of Soham, or the accused himself was associated with the party.
Soham was arrested on March 21 by Curchorem police after locals protested outside the police station. He was accused raping minor girls and later circulating their videos.
The case was later handed over to the Crime Branch.
Sources in the department stated that till date four girls have filed complaints against the accused, who is currently in the custody of Crime branch.
Four girls have come forward to file the case while attempts are going on to reach out to more, he said.
Amongst the four, two sisters, including a major and a minor, have deposed before the police accusing Soham of raping them.
Two more girls including his current girlfriend has also come forward and filed the case against Soham, police said.
Crime Branch has already sent the mobile phone of Soham for forensic examination.
