Panaji: Goa on Tuesday reported six cases positive for COVID-19 infection from Vasco’s Mangor Hill locality which has been declared as a containment zone.
State Health Department official said that on Tuesday 13 patients who were treated at ESI hospital were discharged and shifted to quarantine facility where they will be kept under observation.
Goa, on Monday, had declared Mangor Hill area in Vasco town as a containment zone after two persons from the same family had tested positive for COVID-19 infection.
“All the six cases which were reported positive for infection on Tuesday were from Mangor Hill, Vasco,” the health official said.
As on Tuesday, State has reported 79 confirmed cases for COVID-19 infection of which 22 are active and 57 patients have recovered.
