Panaji: Siolim Block President along with locals on Monday met CM Dr Pramod Sawant along with locals to find solution to water crises experienced by Chapora village. “We have to get water from nearby wells and water tankers, we approached PWD who have repeatedly told us that we have a water shortage and the line has been damaged, ironically the hotels nearby get good water supply,” lamented the locals.
Water being the basic necessity the locals along with BJP block president of Siolim Mohan Dabhale met CM at his official residence in Altinho. “CM has assured that he will speak to the authorities concerned and resolve our problem,” said Dabhale.
