Panaji: Siddhesh, Son of Union AYUSH minister Shripad Naik on Saturday filed police complaint against a local activist for posting defamatory content on social media against his father.
Naik is a BJP leader and Member of Parliament from North Goa.
In a police complaint filed with Panaji police on Saturday, Siddhesh has accused social activist Aires Rodrigues of posting and circulating defamatory content against his father on social media.
Siddhesh has said that the defamatory content against him and also his family has been circulated by Rodrigues.
“The said act has resulted into defaming my father’s clean image and further instigating the public at large against him (father) and myself while making false allegations and statements,” the complaint reads.
Siddhesh has also accused Rodrigues of trying to create hurdles in smooth operation of Central government project floated by AYUSH ministry in the state.
