Panaji: Union AYUSH minister Shripad Naik on Friday has been shifted out of Intensitive Care unit to the VVIP ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital, a senior official said.
Dean of GMCH Dr Shivanand Bandekar said that the minister is recovering well and his general condition is improving.
“He is shifted out of the ICU to the VVIP Room no 1 – ward 121. All his parameters are under normal limits,” Bandekar said.
He said that the minister continues to be on nasal prongs oxygenation. “All his blood tests done today are within normal limits,” he said.
Bandekar said that the minister is having normal diet along the bedside.
