Margao : Shadow Council for Margao (SCM) reacted to the newly formed Margao Municipal Council. SCM convenor Savio Coutinho said “During the previous term, inspite of having the most stable Council, the Alliance backed Council could hardly deliver anything to Madgaonkars”
“We can only hope that the new 4-Tier system designed by the leaders will be advantageous for the city” he added
“Our first prayer to the new Council to be formed, is that the mess created by the plastic baling section at the old fish market should be removed without any delay” said Coutinho.
SCM also demanded that the multilevel parking facility should be immediately taken up for construction and completion to ease parking woes and streamline the traffic movement in the city.
