Panaji: In an interim respite to the shack owners, Bombay High Court at Goa on Monday allowed the State government to start the process of allotting the shacks, ahead of the tourist season.
The court has now fixed next date for hearing on October 7.
The National Green Tribunal had stayed Goa Tourism Department’s shack policy as the state has failed to submit its Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) before it.
