Panaji: Seafarers who regularly travel by the sea need to be vaccinated preferably, said MLA of Curtorim Alexio reginaldo. “They are not allowed to travel unless they get themselves vaccinated.
“I have requested the Chief Minister and the NRI commissioner to give preference to seafarers and those working on ships for vaccination” informed reginaldo. “Let these seafarers start earning and let the economy rise, If the Chief Minister is interested in reviving the economy he will do it” added Reginaldo.
Reginalso also opined that priests of different religions be given the status of COVID19 warriors. “They also need to be vaccinated on priority basis since they go for counselling in houses” he concluded.
