The State Council of Educational Research & Training, Alto-Porvorim, has scheduled the Science Talent Search examination (STSE) 2024-25 for students of Std. VIII, to XII on Sunday January19, January 2025. The exams will be held at all 12 Taluka centers for the academic year 2024-2025 & project year 2025-2026. Under this Scheme, a total of 144 fresh Scholarships of Rs. 12,000/- per annum @ Rs. 1,000/- will be awarded to the meritorious students every year from the State of Goa at Class IX level, which can be continued upto Class XII.
The examination for selection of students for award of science Talent Search Examination scholarships is being conducted by the State Governments. And as per the guidelines of the scheme, a selection exam is conducted for the students while they are studying in class VIII, IX, X, XI & XII. The scheme is meant for meritorious students of economically weaker sections whose parental income is less than Rs. 5 lakh per annum.
