Valpoi: Mahdei Village in Bhirondem Panchayat of Sattari Taluka has been sealed by Valpoi administration for rising cases of Covid 19.
As many of 10 cases have been found positive of Covid 19 in a small village of Bhirondem Panchayat. “Initially, there were three active cases but in contact testing, we found more seven positive said Sarpanch Udaysingh Rane.
He said Mamlatdar and Joint Mamlatdar of Sattari had visited this village and have sealed due to rising cases.
Contact tracing and testing of other Villagers have already begun and hope no positive cases are found”. Udaysing added.
Incharge of CHC Valpoi Dr Shyam Kankonkar said they recorded a total of 21 cases from different parts of sattari and have sent all the positive patients to covid care centre and all cases are asymptomatic and fine. All the contacts are tested and reports are awaited.
